About the Role
We are seeking a highly creative, fashion-forward individual to take our Men’s Clothing department to the next level. If you are looking for a place to put your artistic talents and design desires to work within a growing, family-owned business with a 77-year legacy, this position might be for you. What You Will Do
- Market Buying & Sourcing: Travel to and attend industry markets alongside our buying team with a specific focus on selecting the best men's fashion, accessories, and lifestyle gifts.
- Creative Merchandising: Assist with the visual store direction for the men's department. You will unbox new arrivals, style mannequins and tables, and build engaging, masculine, and sophisticated floor displays.
- Retail Sales & Styling: Work hands-on on the retail floor, acting as a personal stylist. You will assist customers in building wardrobes, finding their absolute perfect fit, and discovering new brands.
- Team Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with our amazing existing management staff to support the continued growth and success of the apparel departments.
Who We Are Looking For
- Menswear Visionary: You have an undeniable passion for men's fashion, tailoring, contemporary design, and retail trends. You know what looks good and how to put it together.
- Calm & Collected: You thrive in a dynamic, busy retail environment and can maintain your composure and professionalism under pressure.
- Highly Organized: You can juggle the details of inventory flow, merchandising roll-outs, and customer service without missing a beat.
- Collaborative Spirit: You are a true team player who is eager to join a supportive, tight-knit group.
Why Join Us?
- Step into a newly created leadership role where your artistic vision will help shape the future of our men's department.
- Be an integral part of a locally owned, beloved Greensboro institution.
- Work in a beautifully evolving environment with a supportive and collaborative team.
Please note that this position requires regular hours on Saturdays and we are closed on Sundays. The position could be full-time or part-time.
