We’re looking for a strategic creative leader — someone who can shape the look, feel, and performance of Fleet-Plummer’s marketing across every touchpoint.
You’ll craft how our website looks and converts, ensure our calls to action drive real results, and shape the strategy behind our paid ads so that every campaign has purpose, beauty, and measurable impact.

Fleet-Plummer is a Greensboro landmark — family-owned for more than 75 years — offering a curated mix of home décor, clothing, gifts, grills, fireplaces, and outdoor living.
We already have a strong foundation: a website team, ad partners, and an email coordinator. What we need now is someone to connect the dots, lead the creative direction, and make everything work together strategically.
🎯 What You’ll Do
Website Strategy & Presentation
- Collaborate with our website partner to shape the look, layout, and messaging of key pages.
- Audit and improve calls to action (CTAs) — ensuring every page drives visitors to take the next step.
- Recommend updates that improve conversion and engagement (copy, visuals, navigation).
- Oversee creation of monthly blog or feature articles that build SEO/AEO and brand authority.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Planning
- Build a monthly marketing calendar tying together website updates, emails, and ads.
- Align campaigns across our core categories:
- Fireplaces / Grills / Furniture / Outdoor Kitchens
- Clothing / Gifts / Christmas
- Fireplaces / Grills / Furniture / Outdoor Kitchens
- Develop clear offers and creative concepts that consistently drive traffic to the website and showroom.
Content Creation & Brand Storytelling
- Capture and edit photos and short-form videos that showcase our products, people, and store atmosphere.
- Create cohesive visuals for website banners, emails, and social posts.
- Write engaging copy that balances warmth, clarity, and persuasion.
Ad Strategy & Creative Direction
- Partner with our existing ad manager to ensure Google, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube campaigns are strategically aligned.
- Review and refine ad creative, copy, and targeting to improve performance and ROI.
- Analyze what’s working (clicks, conversions, cost-per-lead) and make data-informed recommendations.

- Can capture and edit high-quality visuals (photo + short video).
- Enjoy owning both the vision and the execution — from idea to published post.
- Understand how content, design, and paid traffic work together to create measurable growth.
✨ Bonus Points If You:
- Have hands-on experience with Google Ads or Meta Ads.
- Know your way around Mailchimp, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Have experience in retail, home design, or lifestyle branding.
